KANVA PP COVER BLOCKS

Cover to rebar is an absolute necessity. Most of the people use crude methods, which in non-professional,  by placing piece of an aggregate, broken tile etc. PVC spacers are a step better than the crude things people use and are available in the market. PVC is still the foreign body to the concrete and does not form permanent bond with concrete. The hair cracks are formed and water vapor enters in.

Concrete blocks overcome this shortcoming. It forms a permanent bond with surrounding concrete. As the thermal coefficient of expansion is same, there are no hair cracks over the period. Some people make concrete cover blocks on site. Due to improper compaction they remain porous and do not give requisite compressive strength.

KANVA makes Poly propylene (PP)  cover blocks in controlled factory conditions where the shape, size and strength make them suitable for use. They are cost effective and competitive too.

PP cover blocks ensures clear concrete cover between the floor forms and the REBARS and  ensures rust free of  REBARS. PP cover blocks are easy to store and involves least wastage as compared to MORTAR blocks made at sites. All the cover blocks manufactured could be used as dual sizes of concrete cover
